• Pardon the dust while the boys rebuild the site.

The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

If anyone has difficulties logging in please contact me at sixthvanguard@gmail.com.

Thank you for your support and patience. I know it has been a loooong road.

    Chuck Wagon WIP

I thought I posted this work already, but darned if I can find it. I had a Johnny West Buck Board and I thought to myself, "I wonder what I could turn this in to?" At first I kinda leaned towards Gypsy caravan, but then I decided my Cowboy figures could use a chuck wagon. I'm about half way...

Night's Watch - Game of Thrones WIP

For those of you who are fans of the HBO series Game of Thrones. This is my take on a member of the Night's Watch. The figure is DML Andre Marek. I found some interesting fabrics cheap while at the fabric store with my wife the other day. It gave me the push to put together a figure I've...

Just a couple of shots of some of my Sailors, reworked a little. Plus I had a SOTW jeep collecting dust so I thought I'd try making it look like a USN vehicle. Still lots to do, I have to stencil USN and a serial number, maybe some black stars etc. Just fiddling around for now. Thanks for...

Back Yard Marines/Photo heavy PT I

I spent the last two weeks with the family hanging out at our cottage up North. I took the opportunity to take some of my Marines with me along with my Desimone LVT. I really need to sit down and either rebuild this thing, or build a whole new one from scratch. It's a great toy and it really...

I think this will be the start of a new theme for me. These guys were bashed with a lot of odds and ends. I'd like to eventually bash several more, I kick myself for all the Denison smocks and such I've traded away one at a time over the years. Anybody have a pile of Brit Para gear you want to...
