• Pardon the dust while the boys rebuild the site.

    The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

    The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

     

    One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

    There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

    Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
    Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

     

    Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

    All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

Getting ready for Transport

Getting ready to move and have been packing up the collection. I have all the boxed figs packed, now time to pack all my bash's (No small task). As I'm packing some of these fig's I'm grabbing some pic's of stuff that hasn't really been posted, or are WIP.

This first pic is of my newest bash's, they are going to be my Nachrichten Truppen or rather Funker's(Radio operator's) To man my communication's shack.

The chair the NCO is sitting In is way cool, scored a couple of them at a yard sale last weekend, I believe they are dollhouse/doll chairs, wish I could find a dollhouse supply place that sell's 1/6th scale furniture.


This next picture Is of my Tank crew that I've been working on for a few years now. Year's???? Well when you don't have a tank, stuff like this gets kinda put to the side alot LOL But now that I have a TC&C 250 they may finaly have a tracked vehicle other than a Kettenkrad to ride Ha Ha Ha Ha :)

These guys still have a bit of work to be done on them, mostly insignia, and a tank would be nice :)


There are a few familiar fig's In this pic I'm sure, this Is half of my Allied contingent. You have Sgt Guffy and the rest of my Stuart crew on the left, next to them Is my US Paratrooper, and to the right you have my four Brittish Commando's.

I also have 12 US Infantrymen that I'll get a group shot of before they get boxed.

Boy I hate packing these guy's up, but on the upside, my new place will have a dedicated hobby room :)
