Golden Boy
Machine Gunner
I've been collecting for just over seven years now.
It all started when I began watching old episodes of Combat! on History Television: I knew that I had to revieve my old GI Joe addiction but with a WWII spin. Searching endlessly on the internet one night I stumbled upon a little company called 21st Century Toys. I began researching the 1/6th WWII world and was instantly hooked! I shortly thereafter discovered the recently formed WWII line of Dragon Models. And the rest is history: I've sat back and watched new companies come and go and my collection constantly grow...
As time goes by, and space grows ever limited, I have recently decided to stop purchasing general release action figures, and rather search for those rare jewels that spark my imagination and make my collection complete. Have also dedicated myself to perfecting and modifying some of the olfer figures I have: replacing older parts with newer and more detailed releases.
My current project, and by far favorite unit of WWII, is my D-Day 101st AB 506th paratroopers. As of present I can field eight fully armed and kitted paratroopers, and am presently working on giving them those crucial bits of detail and equipement that makes each one unique.
Well, that's my story, look forward to working with all you guys.
