With the negative stigmas regarding handguns in my locale I got used to getting pissed on for my preferences a long time ago. BTW, the leading party in the next election will likely ban handguns if that gives you a sense what people think of the subject. Sorry for the OT reference but having grown up in this type of culture, I really don't care what most people believe about my hobbies (this being one of them) and the people I associate within them (ie. the 'crazies'). There will be exceptions though - as a result, I often keep something on display to show my interests so it won't be such a shock.

Pulled this little tidbit out a box last week and set it up in a corner of my home office - a bit of a work in progress...


Bottom line - whatever your hobby is, enjoy it as much as you can. If you don't chances are someone else will end up choosing it for you.
