PG117 Russian Boat

Hello everyone, I am new to this site but have been an avid 1/6 scale modeler since Joe came out. Christmas of 66 Santa brought me a Russian and my toys never ended. I thought I'd make a PG117. Hope you enjoy.

Re: PG117 Russian Boat

Nice boat, did you scratch build it from the ground up or modify one of the R/C kits out there?

I like the dock and set of pics you took.

Re: PG117 Russian Boat

Beautiful setting and the boat looks great. Do you have any "in progress" pics? Would like to see how you did it.

Very awesome and functional too. Looks like we found our LCV and LVT builder?

Re: PG117 Russian Boat

Beautiful work! Did you scratch-build the jetty, too?

A beautifully shot diorama.

Re: PG117 Russian Boat

Excellent craftsmanship.

I always wanted to live near a lake and have R/C watercraft. Ended up in the opposite environment, the desert, but love it as well.

Dave, a 1:6 Mighty Mo would be really great but if I ever had the time money and opportunity to do a 1:6 battlewagon it would have to be a Bismarck. I don't know what the allure is for me, but the Bismarck has always fascinated me. The Italian Roma class was a beautiful battleship design too.
