m42 question

hi all, quick question , is it possible that some of the filthy 13 wore unmodified m42 s during normandy, thanks

I assume you mean unmodified by riggers? Interesting question because some of the pics of these guys do seem to show jumpsuits without the darker reinforcements on elbow or knee.

i have studied these pictures before,i have to say though you can see the reinforced patches just about accounting for lighting and the fact that some of the photos are of training jumps, so it does pose a mystery, i suppose i could use some modellers lisence and say maybe the odd one or two didn't
