Color help
Hi people!
I'm after some advice with what colors to use, I want to do a nice color scheme similar to this ![]() My question is which colours from Tamiya would be sutiable, I am also assuming they are standard german/Finnish colors? In that case what are the coresponding colors from tamiya called? Thanks, Chris. b |

Tiger Ace, what I have been doing lately is taking the colors that I want to our local paint stores and have them scan them and mix them right there. It is a lot cheaper and you have paint to last a long time. You can have it mixed flat or simigloss what ever you like.

If you find a really good Automotive paint store they can do color matching in flat and you get a good quality enamel instead of a latex house paint. They'll even put it in a spray can if you don't have a gun.

So, I use Tractor Supply's buff primer mixed with a little black for Dunkelgelb, and their gray primer mixed with a little black and green for Panzer gray. Those are about $8 a quart. |

The best colour I have found for Dark yellow is humbrol 94 and for the green humbrol 86 . For 1/6 scale it might be worth your while getting a litre mixed up . But for your green one or two tins of humbrol 86 would do . As you should only lightly spray on your como . I hope this helps . Dale.

Hello Chris . They only come in tins , just thin with 20% turps and use your air brush. Dale.
