Panzerwerks and the future of 1/6th scale

The hobby in general is going through a slow down , this means orders have also slowed down considerably .
I am changing some things to reflect this change .

First I am starting a new Business.

This may cause a slowdown in my ability to to run panzerwerks in a normal way , its going to be on the back burner for a bit , sorry guys But I have to make some money , I cant keep going on hope .

My new Business will get about 80% of my attention for the next 6 months as I need to build up a product line , I already have customers as it something I did years ago and my old product is still being sold by the thousands by other vendors .

So I apologize for this , but this economy and the massive slow down in the hobby has forced me to take a new more viable direction , remember one helps keep the other alive , but service will suffer for it .

Re: Panzerwerks and the future of 1/6th scale

All the best Steve, hope the old business makes life a little easier. I have always had a full time job behind Armorpax to pay the mortgage, I know how it is and you have to do whats best for you and yours.

On the other hand if I could have banked all the "oh yeah, I'm in for one of those" I would have retired 3 years ago :-)

Best regards

Dave

Dang it wanted some stuff but could wait , and BTW I have one of those claws bought many many years ago, made by you then?
And a few others.
I think bones and clones or something along that name.
My other hobby is fossil collecting.

Re: Panzerwerks and the future of 1/6th scale

Could be , I worked for Bone Clones a long time ago, I did not really sculpt anything for them as i was not talented enough for them LOL ... the claws were made by me while working at a different company , I sculpted a bunch of stuff while working there Valley Anatomical Preparations .

You can see some of the work I did and my original sculptures here if you have facebook :

Re: Panzerwerks and the future of 1/6th scale

Good luck Steve! Maybe a good idea to keep the website up, with a note of no orders, for reference of what parts you have/will have available.

Of course that probably involves a cost for the website...

Que siga la fiesta!

Re: Panzerwerks and the future of 1/6th scale

Good luck with the new venture. I have checked some other repro fossil sites in the past and these pictures look like good stuff to me. Please tell us how to order your stuff when you're up and running.
