Tweeking Dragon's 5 button GI sweater

I'm sure someone has already done this, as long as Dragon's 5 button sweater has been out, but thought I'd share it anyway.

Dragon made a nice 5 button sweater, but I didn't really like the collar very much. Some sweaters were made with the neck portion also knitted, but some do appear to have had cloth collar sections. But the sweaters provided by the Army had olive green buttons, and Dragon misplaced the buttons. Where Dragon had the snap button, was about where the buttons stopped; they had them sewn farther apart and going around the edge of the collar itself.

So I removed the buttons, painted them green, and sewed them back on about 7mm apart. Hope you like the changes.

The version you picture was issued to the 1st Special Service Force, I think it was exclusively to the FSSF. Great job!
