Seeking WWII 50 Cal ammo and links

I hope I'm posting this question in the correct place.

Who make the most accurate 50 cal ammo and links?
I will need them for my M4A2 Dragon conversion build.

TIA,
Barry

You could look for the DiD Verison which can still be found on eBay. DML is more modern

I've been watching ebay but have not seen anything that really looks acceptable to my eye.

I would love to find some turned empty shells, cartridges with separate links. like the ones Aber and Master Model does.

Re: Seeking WWII 50 Cal ammo and links

The Charles Winston figure came with a very nice Browning 50 cal mg and ammo belts.

Some Shermans also had a field added 30 cal and the Henry Kano Korean War figure has a complete Browning 30 cal mg.

Armorpax makes a white metal 50 and 30 cal mg. every so often I find sales on ebay of 1/6 ammo including loose casings and belted ammo.

Thanks Leonard,

I'm tracking a Charles Winston figure on ebay. The 50 cal ammo looks nice but is linked with a cloth belt. All the pics I've looked at have metal links, is the cloth belt accurate?

The tank I will be modeling will only have the M2.

I have the Armorpax 50 cal and it is nice.

Re: Seeking WWII 50 Cal ammo and links

You're correct, you want the belt with the metal links, DiD released one with one of their other WW2 GI's, the name eludes me at moment, but yes a very rare and hard piece to locate, there was another metal link belt released by merit international years ago, but that was more for a modern weapon and was smaller caliber than the .50

I had forgotten that Wintson figure had the cloth belted ammo rather than the metal clips.

Barry,

You got a message...
here's the pics as requested... this damned little bits are subject to interspersed, but easy, with patience to separate them!

Re: Seeking WWII 50 Cal ammo and links

DiD's Ricky Foster also came with metal-linked .50 cal. ammo.

DiD's Charles Winstone was the only DiD figure to come with the .50 cal. ammo can.

Hope this helps!
