Re: Warslug.COM

Wow, at those prices, I think I'll take two of each.

Shows what a great price the FOA vehicles are going for.

Re: Warslug.COM

Gorgeous models and fantastic workmanship.

But the price is a shocker. Makes Armortek's price a good value as well. Interestingly WS say these are museum quality - but the Panther G is a bit curious. An early turret with very late flame arresters (on exhaust) and crew heater manifold (on rear deck). This is because the warslug is modeled after the Bovy Panther G - which was assembled after the war by the Brits from genuine german parts. But its not 100% authentic, its a hodgepodge of early and late war Panther parts. Not knocking either of their efforts (ie the Brits to make a Panther, or WS to model one) - but even at this price, these models are not 100% accurate..

Will be interesting to see how that pricing strategy works out.

This statement is very inaccurate, the Bovington Panther was as you say built after the war in the MNH factory using readily available production parts the gun mantle is correct for the Panther of this time as all 3 types of gun mantle remained in production till the wars end hence why the Bovington Panther has the standard mantle it would be inaccurate to say all late Panther had a chin mantle hitherto the Bovington Panther is not a hodgepodge of parts it is enfact very correct even down the the stowage bins with horizontal ribs, their is nothing out of place on this Panther.

I have to agree the prices of Warslug are over the top 20.000€ and with Chinese electronics and gearboxes is over the top.
