Guns on BF109E Help

I'm working on a trade for a 1/6th BF109E that is RC (minus the RC parts lol), but unfortunately it comes without guns Essential to this scale, IMO, Anyone know if there are any after market guns I can use for the guns on a 1/6th BF109E? Not sure what to use that is readily available on the market through fig releases or after market parts shops. I don't mind sawing up otherwise perfectly good parts to finish this bird as the guns IMO are the second most important part of the whole plane.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

GenSpec.

GenSpec. When I made my Bf-109 I just made the gun barrels as you do not see that much of them. Just look at some books with that model and go for it.

Depending on how detailed you want to get, you can use two pieces of brass tube with one inside of the other and protruding out about .125 of an inch. If you can figure out how to flare the end of the smaller piece you'll be set. I've got some really good close up pictures of the guns around here somewhere. I'll post them if I can track them down.

Just a bit of additional info. For the E-4 model the guns mounted above the nose are 7.92mm MG-17's. The wings each hold 1 20mm MG FF/M cannon. Some of the early E series carried the engine mounted 20mm MG FF/M but it was highly unreliable and terminated by the time the E-4 was produced.

Thanks Guys! I will try to make my own. Anyone know if Brass tubing can be flared by taping a nail set into it? Would I need to heat the brass first for this to work?

If you heat up the brass tube on the end red hot with a torch and let it cool off without quenching it in water, it should be plenty soft for forming.

You could probably get away with using the ends of MG34 barrels.
