Cool, Looks really good! I'm waiting for the new figure from DiD with the stove. I think it's DiD. I want one for my German Machine gun bunker. I'll get the complete figure and hopefully a second stove loose. I don't know if they had heaters in bunkers but they must have had to stay warn in the winter. What did they list it as on Ebay?

in the personal accounts ive read of life on the Ost front , many of these "Bunker" Stoves or heaters were made of local matierials scrounged from whatever could be found , and it was not uncommon to take the stove with you when releaved by the next unit , leaving them on thier own to come up with thier own stove .

Thanks, that's such a cool item. Sounds like the guy has some decent info on it and it is from Europe so I don't doubt it's from W.W.II. From the description it was portable so I think Steve hit it on the head. something like that was probably a commodity and not left to be confiscated by another soldier. You did an excellent job on it. I wouldn't have know how good it was until I saw the real thing.
