    The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

    The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

     

    One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

    There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

    Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
    Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

     

    Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

    All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

Mainly using Zhukov's Attic to buy loose stuff. The new $200 per figure sets are out of my buying range. Just can't justify the cost even though there are some nice figures.

Had been selling stuff on ebay but don't like their new paying / buying format. With the reorganization of the action figure / military and adventure into a general free for all, its just a pain in the ass and haven't posted anything new since the changes.

War Toys, Zhukov's Attic or ebay. Just did two big purchases with East Coast Armory and Armorpax. Been watching Cyber-Hobby for awhile, but anytime i see something its already gone. Haven't seen any new posts in awhile in the crap game section. Other than the above listed, I don't have any other outlets to get more stuff. Miss the old days.
 
Zhukov's Attic just posted almost 7 pages of German items on EBay since last night. That's over 1400 items.
 
That’s all stuff that has been on the website. I’ve had to raise website price to list stuff on eBay, but if you order on the website a 10% discount is added at checkout. Also if anyone on SAG ever wants to trade for something on the site, just shoot me an email!
 
Hate to say it but great forums like this are a dying breed. Everything is happening in FB. I buy most of my stuff from dealers and vendors on FB. Everything is NOW there.
