    The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

    The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

     

    One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

    There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

    Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
    Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

     

    Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

    All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

In answer to your question why your pics are showing so small, let's see if we can figure it out.

I don't believe the board software is making them smaller when you upload them here. They are being displayed at full size from the attachments.

Where are you copying your images from?
 
I am using postimage.com. I didn't expect this to happen. I have used this site before, and the photos posted full size. However, I do have a new cell phone that I took these photos with. Would that have anything to do with it? FYI - I will more than likely be out of town until Sunday (14 Jan 23). My wife's dad is having hip replacement surgery.

When you get a chance, Are the pics on postimage.com viewable? If so, can you link one or two of the ones from your post?
 
I am finally back home. Surgery went well at first, but some issues cropped up afterwards. We live in Iowa. We got to the hospital just a few hours before the big blizzard hit us. We were stranded until yesterday (Tuesday). Luckily the hospital has emergency guest rooms. He is doing OK for now except for the pain. He is 88. My wife's sisters could finally get through to relieve us for a few days. He collects toy trains (Lionel) and says he can't wait to get back home to run them.
Anyway, sorry to bore you. I got back on the site and noticed a drop-down screen to resize my photos. Some of the choices are - 100 X 75 (Avatar), 150 X 112 (Thumbnail), 320 X 240 (Websites and Email), and 640 X 480 (Message Boards). There are a few more, but I wouldn't think they would pertain to this. Any idea as to which one I should pic?
 
Glad your father-in-law is doing OK and you made it out of the hospital in one piece.
Pick the biggest one and attach it to this thread and let's see what we get.
