• Pardon the dust while the boys rebuild the site.

The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

If anyone has difficulties logging in please contact me at sixthvanguard@gmail.com.

Thank you for your support and patience. I know it has been a loooong road.

    Game Changers

I was doing an outdoor diorama shoot yesterday with some chums and found myself marveling once again over DiD's MG ammo belts, and I recall being dumbstruck when I first got ahold of one all those years ago at how amazingly intricate it was. To me, that was a moment that raised the bar in the...

    Firebird Arts

I was turned on to Firebird Arts.com because I was lamenting the lack of 1/6th scale musical instruments. I went there and found a listing for a bass guitar, and the description clearly stated 'perfect for 12 inch figures. 1/6 scale', so I ordered it. This thing arrives, and it's 9 inches...

    DML's Pak 38

I'd like to get one of these but hate the winter camo, and I would end up repainting it. Do you guys think it will be released in other schemes? I'd hate to get this one and put in all the effort to repaint it just to have it released in the paint scheme I wanted all along. Or should I jump...

    This is sweet

saw this at the East/West Design furniture store in Denver 1/6 scale mill. It was marked down to $190, but that was still a little too rich for me...not to mention the fact that using Japanese antiques in 1/6 dioramas seemed a little wrong to me... :-P

    Need help finding latches

Does anyone know a source for tiny latches like the ones on the TT Panzerfaust crates or DML's panzershrek crates? Table Top Diorama at Hobby Town USA

My club had the opportunity last weekend to set up a table top diorama at the Hobby Town USA store in Littleton. It was a Colorado Spring perfect day (not a cloud in the sky and mid 60s!), and Hobby Town was playing host to a modeling contest, so we were able to show off a little LARGE scale...
