• Pardon the dust while the boys rebuild the site.

The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

If anyone has difficulties logging in please contact me at sixthvanguard@gmail.com.

Thank you for your support and patience. I know it has been a loooong road.

Left the FOA page at facebook and took all pictures with me. ( Could place them here if it of use)
Seen at least 2 guys here who bought the model, wonder if they made progress in building this kit.

I've no idea when I'll even start as, in terms of my annual model show projects, I'm towards the end of my D-Day series for this year, USMC in the Pacific next year and I'm putting in my series on the Fallschirmjager (which I built for last year but didn't go in) in 2026.

I'm loosely looking at, as a "bookend" finale to my annual multi-series themed displays for the local model show, on redoing my first - the Afrika Korps - from a scene to a series that'll feature the '88...so stay tuned, Cheers, Steve

I have one of the FOA 88 kits, came with the trailer, it has been sitting in a box on a cabinet in my back room for a couple years or so. Don't think I am ever going to get around to building it.

Hello Tony,
I hope you are well. I’m just wondering if your 1/6 shop is operating?

Good Day , Captain Action here. The family of the fellow I bought the FOA Tiger 1 from are looking to see if they can find the missing parts, but I may need to replace them if they are not found. Parts missing are ,one engine hatch, Cupola ( may make one) drive sprocket and Tank tracks. I have tried to contact FOA but they have not answered my E mails and the wed site is a mess.Thank you for your help.
Graham,

Are you accepting and filling orders? I placed one on August 23, 2020 and haven’t heard anything from you. Just trying to get some Inchon it’s status.

Thanks,
Don
