Re: British comedy classic headsculpts (Blackadder goes forth & Dad's army sets)

You've captured the condescending sneer of Captain Darling brilliantly.

Re: Panzer IV Ausf H Project

Each tank Tim builds is the best I've ever seen! We've still got the Tiger to come too. Happy days.

Re: M7 Priest

It is difficult to add to the comments on this fantastic vehicle. I can see it appearing on Antiques Roadshow in 100 years time with the experts speechless at the detail!

Re: Panzer IV Ausf H Project

Everything just perfect as usual. That commander must be feeling pretty smug.

Re: Home Guard 1940

Great work as usual and you pretty much sum the Home Guard up in a nutshell. My father, although young, was in the HG as he worked for a coal company in the London Victoria Docks and this was a...

Re: Late Production Tiger 1 Project

Have to agree with Sgt Schultz - if I didn't show restraint my Hetzer would be full of Tim's Tiger and PzIV parts. They're just so good I want them but don't need them!

Re: Late Production Tiger 1 Project

'Simple drop-in detail' - so casually said but it would take me a year to make a poor copy!

Re: M7 Priest

It truly is a fantastic model. I've never understood how people build an entire model then paint it and still get all the details looking so good. I always have to build and paint mine in...

Re: My take on paving stones

Look superb. Seen plenty like this around France and I would think Europe in general. What a great base for figures and vehicles. Very good price too.

Re: My custom 1/18 soldiers

This is outstanding work. Have you ever made 1/16th figures? The 1/16 world could do with more high quality individualistic poses.

Re: STUGIII-G metalbox

This is cruel. This and the PzIII are possibly my two favourite vehicles. So many models and so little money..................

Re: Late Production Tiger 1 Project

Your usual standard of jaw-dropping work! Which make of paint do you use for your Elfenbein? Or do you mix it?

Re: British M3A3 Stuart Turret

This tank has always been one of my favourite models from the first time I saw it. Just keeps getting better.

Re: Sdkfz.10 + leIG18 75mm, 16th Div(LW), 1944

Excellent work. Tim took the words out of my mouth - that subtle 3 colour camo is very well done and looks very real.

Re: A seriously silly observation

I have exactly the same pock marks in the stone work around the doors etc here in my French house which was built in 1850. They were put in as a key to hold plaster. The plaster falls off over the...

Re: Tiger jack block question

That's a great photo. Shows the mix of early and late air filters. Looking at Tiger 112 proves that sometimes you can't overdo the damage and weathering. Looks ready for the scrapyard.

Re: Blitzkrieg Armour Forum Down or no more?

That's true. So much info and nice builds happening. Lots of building and wiring tips all gone. Luckily I had asked another member about the motor spec a few weeks back. Just in case Dave can't find...

Re: Panzer IV Ausf H Project

Looking very good. With the plain paint job and the palm tree in the video it could almost have been driving down a Tunisian road.
