Looking for German WW2 Tank commander upgrades imformation please?

Hello Everyone.

I would really appreciate some advice/leads to Possibly customized German WW2 Tank commander, possibly a KURT MEYER or similar.or as an alternative does anyone offer upgrading service I was sort of thinking possibly replacing standard parts with better accessories.(Example leather boots from the company whos name I forget now? and similar e.t.c.)I am not really up to doing much myself, but would very much appreciate paid for help.Ideally KING TIGER COMMANDER but more than happy with any commander even non famous ones if their are really good examples available.
many thanks in advance guys.I much prefer folk who know what they are doing can get hold of stuff and attach to figure correctly,I dont just mean physically changing a pair of boots but someone who knows the world of WW2 German Figures.

all the best Steve (Englishman in Norway)

Contact Egonzinc. He does custom figures for tank projects for FOA. He might be able to help you.

Kurt Meyer wasn't a tank commander..he was a regimental and then divisional commander.

Hi Steve, welcome to the community, my advice would be to explore the many pages of amazing figures in the "Ground Pounders" section and find someone through there who's work you really like, then message them or email them with your proposition, many if not all of the members posting do commission work pending availability. Happy hunting

Re: Looking for German WW2 Tank commander upgrades imformation please?

Good day Pangaea95

Please accept my apologies for not replying before now, have being very ill,and am only now getting back in to things.
I thank you for your reply, and have being doing what you suggest some time back. But I can not recall anyone replying to me? so gave that up as a bad job.
OK I did not contact everyone.

I do wish to emphasise I am looking for a modded light Tank crew/Commander?taking one of the best figures I suppose a panzer commander or a Meyer type figure? not necessarily Wittmann e.t.c. as long as it as a realistic look, and upgraded where it is felt after market items will improve the overhaul look e.t.c IE Leather boots maybe, better hat, anything really.

Mine will hopefully actually take his place in a 1/6th RC King Tiger?
so if you or anyone knows of someone who knows his stuff please let them know of my request or PM e.t.c.

all the best Steve

Re: Looking for German WW2 Tank commander upgrades imformation please?

A 1/6th scale King Tiger commander isn't all that hard to put together pending your budget, do you have a specific time period? Obviously late war, but would you want him in winter dress ala "Battle of the Bulge" or you could do one from the 503rd Heavy Panzer Battalion during the Allied Invasion of Normandy, or 501st Heavy Panzer Battalion Eastern front summer/fall, or? What do you have in mind, you must have some sort of vision, pictures you may have seen, an inspiration?

Re: Looking for German WW2 Tank commander upgrades imformation please?

Hello Again
good of you to get back to me.I was sort of trying to find the guy who custmizers first then going in to the detail/specifics then.which to me seems the correct route as finding the maker is key,and then we look at all options which I suspect any WW2 German modder can do.as per your suggestions.thats the theory anyway.and as I am not looking for a work of art, just a really nice tank crew member/Commander or other.

all the best Steve

Re: Looking for German WW2 Tank commander upgrades imformation please?

Hi I have figure made by Eduardo (egonzinc) he does good work, reasonable price, good person to work with. I told him what (who actually) I wanted and he matched it pretty darn close. I don't know if he still does customs. PM him.
