somebody must tell my were to get the farm animals..all they have around me are too small in scale to use (you can only have so many puppies.)

That's brilliant stuff! Thanks for posting it. I thought it was built by you guys but I now understand it's actually a training model (metal I assume?) used for training army engineers. Excellent for getting your hands on it before someone dumped it for scrap metal.

Most of it is metal - except for the chess pieces (official name of the planking, according to the US Army manual on Bailey bridges), which are wood. The guy that the other club members bought it off of bought it from a guy who was going to scrap it. Lucky for all of us, that never happened.

The goal is to do a river crossing scene, 1944, at some point - US or British. I'm pretty excited for that one!

Dutchman......your right about it being used as a training model for Engineers.
