• Pardon the dust while the boys rebuild the site.

The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

If anyone has difficulties logging in please contact me at sixthvanguard@gmail.com.

Thank you for your support and patience. I know it has been a loooong road.

Brigade Commander

SS-Panzergrenadierregiment 2 “LSSAH”
13. schwere Infanteriegeschutz Kompanie/ 2
Foret-de-Cinglais, south of Caen, France
July 2, 1944
Here we see a Grille and its crew, getting their vehicle ready for the upcoming actions and at the same time coordinating the attack with grenadiers of 3.SS-Panzergrenadier-Regiment "Deutschland”, part of the 2.SS “Das Reich” Division. They are also in action around Normandy and are helping re-supply the newly arrived units of the Liebstandarte.

Motorcycle is a repainted 21C piece. The Grille is from Major Midnite, repainted and detailed.
The 251D is from Maron Callanta through Greg Brown, painted and detailed. This vehicle no longer looks like this as I repainted it about a year ago, unusual for me as I usually leave the vehicles as I finish them!

Great work on the dio, all ya need are a few stooks in that former wheat field. The SP is an excellent piece.

Best of luck.

Geoff

Eduardo you create some amazing dio's dude, so much detail, every time I look at the pictures I pick out something cool and new that I didn't see before. Very nicely done :!: :!: :!:

Thanks fopr all the comments.
These images , of course were not new, a rehash of part of my Grille series from way back when, but I get a kick out of seeing them again myself!
That 251 has been since repainted and upgraded a bit with new gun shield and new RTT tracks and driver wheel...when light gets a bit better in a couple of months I will take its turn in the yard once again!

Thanks again.
