• Pardon the dust while the boys rebuild the site.

The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

If anyone has difficulties logging in please contact me at sixthvanguard@gmail.com.

Thank you for your support and patience. I know it has been a loooong road.

face planted into a 1:6 Bradley

Commies!

Rifleman
So a little backstory, I baught one of those 21st century toys Bradley's online for 200 dollars ( I couldn't help it ) and I was weathering it when it happened. I just finished it when all of a sudden, I don't even know how since the floor was clean but I digress, I trip and face plant into the Bradley. Luckily, nothing happened to the vehicle but I got the wind knocked out of me for a bit. But on a side note, the Bradley was a success and I might post pictures of it in the near future.

Those vehicles were VERY strong! I bought one and it was shipped to me, simply thrown in a big box. It did suffer some damage but any other vehicle shipped that way would have been pulverized! I later sold it as it seemed I was never going to get to it. Looking forward tot he image of the beast!

The 21st Century 1/6th vehicles were great. Durable, and most were fairly scale accurate, although the Bradley is significantly under scale. Still a huge and very cool model and well worth $200. dollars. That was a very fair price for one. Congratulations on your purchase and be careful where you step. You don't want to damage something important. I mean faces heal, but that gun-sight is a bear to fix!
