• Pardon the dust while the boys rebuild the site.

The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

If anyone has difficulties logging in please contact me at sixthvanguard@gmail.com.

Thank you for your support and patience. I know it has been a loooong road.

Meeting at Henriks Place

Falckner

Company Commander
Hi
30th July we finaly had our get-togehter at Loke 666 place
4 Danish lads and one Swede, talk about international. ;)
We had a wonderful day in Loke´s garden wich is huge by the way.
Nice weather all day long and just as we had packed the rain started
to pouring down. Phuu .

We had a story line off something and somewhere on the Eastern front
1944. The "Gray vehicle could possible go for rear area not repainted
vehicle saving the RAL for the front troops. Give it you´r imagination ;)

History
In the beginning of May 1944 The 4th Panzer Army requested from the
Herresgruppe that the 9 SS-Pz Aufklärungsabteilung be made available
for fighting Partisan bands in the area of Iwancze (20km north of Sokol).
Railroad demolition by partisan band had signifacantly increased here
wich made the commitment of the SS-Pz AA 9 necessary.

The local Schutzpolizei get the orders to meet up with a small
Kampfgruppe from the SS-Pz AA 9 supported by a Panther.

cool set up. makes me want to go out and play but unfortunetly its rainy here. as for the pnz II, i think its very posible it was in use in 1944 with police units and second line units. i mean they used old french and yugo tanks up untill the end.

Thanks for posting Björn!!

Yes we had a very nice day. John brought bread for a late breakfast, and beer and softdrinks for later. We had pizza for lunch and a lot of chat and tall tales.

I''l post a bit more pics tomorrow - too tired now.
