• Pardon the dust while the boys rebuild the site.

The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

If anyone has difficulties logging in please contact me at sixthvanguard@gmail.com.

Thank you for your support and patience. I know it has been a loooong road.

Do you have information about MIKE MUSURA and the camraman of the D-DAY?

Bonjour Pierre,

Welcome to our forum! My mother is French...she's from Metz.

I did a quick search on Mike Musura, and it looks like he did some photography for the 101st Airborne also. A few of his photos are on Mark Bando's website. Bando is a Airborne Historian. I would suggest that you contact him, and perhaps he can tell you more.

Apparently, Mike Musura was also in a French film called "Nora Prentiss" (1947).

Good luck with your search!

Oui j'ai déjà vu ce site mais je ne trouve pas l'adresse email du propriétaire du site !
Oui j'ai vu qu'il avait tourné dans un site mais je ne sait pas si c'est lui. il faudrait que je trouve ce film !

Yes I already saw this site but I do not find address email of the owner of the site! Yes I saw that it had turned in a site but I does not know if it is him it would be necessary that I find this film! :)
Thanks !

Greetings Michelle,

I take it from your name that you are some how related to this World War II Paratrooper/Photographer, Mike Musura. Can you post more information about him?

My wife's grandfather, Captain Fred Culpepper, was with the 82nd Airborne when it was first established, then was part of the cadre that formed the 101st Airborne Division. He did all the 101st combat missions as a battery commander in the 377th Parachute Field Artillery.

Airborne!
Patrick
