    The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

    The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

     

    One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

    There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

    Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
    Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

     

    Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

    All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

Been into model building and military history over 40 years. I collect and
paint 1/72 Napoleonic figures and also collect 1/6th WW2. I also, in cahoots
with some other great fellows, make limited runs of 1/6th vehicles.

Just got my end of a deal with Tim. I bought one of the test shots of the M7 and it came the other day. Tim asked if he could hold on to it while they used it to correct some stuff on the molds for production version and I said no problem. Tim hooked me up with a lot of extras for my wait that he didn't have to do I would have been happy either way. Thanks Tim.
 
I made a transaction with Tim and all I can say is that he's a fantastic guy ! I bought a SDKFZ 250 from him and it is now home in Belgium a week after. Fast shipping and a realy smooth deal. I will deal with him again anytime. Thanks a lot again Tim.
