• Pardon the dust while the boys rebuild the site.

The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

If anyone has difficulties logging in please contact me at sixthvanguard@gmail.com.

Thank you for your support and patience. I know it has been a loooong road.

Ok SAG members this is my "What if" FlakStuart. Project that started as a vision and turned into fun, and the practise to better and hopefully perfect my craftmenship and artistry skills, and those who personally know me, I have preference for what could have been which becomes the "What If" in WWII History. Not taking away from Historycal Vehicles by any means but my personal preference is bringing something new to this hobby, even if it's a project with no Historical Records. So... this is what this project means to me. A total personal design craftmenship and finish so that my skills better each time, as I've only been in this hobby a couple of years, and as a life time artist I like to share my work, for good or bad critisizem, it's all fun to me. So here is my entry and thanks to all members for being inspirational through theri work even thow I might not know you guys personally, thanks to you all again!! Enjoy... Vled

I've just left a reply on your other Stuart and now I see this! Absolutely fantastic! Love the paint.

Winner no.2! Great job buddy, you're just having way too much fun out there! Keep knockin 'em out!

Mark.

Hi vled,

Really really cool! Both your Stuarts look like something that could be totally feasible. Outstanding concept, build, paint and finish. Fun to look at.

Great work! :!:

regards
Tim

Looks great!
As mentioned above it looks very credible and the detail, inventiveness and painting is no fantasy!

Such a cool what if. And Geoff is right, there is something makes me think of "Dust" I guess it's the fantastic fantasy aspect. You really captured something different with this build.

Tim

After looking at all the captured vehicles the germans put guns on, your version seems really possible. It fits and does kinda look like some of the weird bastardizations the krauts did with captured armor. I like it. If you don't look for the M-5 you really don't see it. Good show !

Pieces like this are a lot of fun, It's great to see what people can do when they use their imaginations. The detail and finish came out very nice, only thing I would suggest is to swap that 30cal out for an MG34
