• Pardon the dust while the boys rebuild the site.

    The board will be in a state of disarray as I get things sorted out, for a little while at least.

    The new incarnation is using Xenforo as the system software. It is much like what we are used to, with a few differences. I will see about making a FAQ to help point out the differences for the members.

     

    One IMPORTANT difference for all of us old timers is that the 'mail' system is replaced with what are called 'conversations'/

    There is no 'Inbox' or 'Out box' or 'Sent' folders anymore.

    Think of Conversations as private 'threads' or topics that don't exist in a forum, that you start with another member. NOTE: Conversations can include more than one member if you or someone else in the conversaion, likes.
    Takes a little getting used to but I am sure you all can get a hang of it.

     

    Only a slightly modified default default Xenforo style is available for now. Once the new SAG style is ready it will be available.

    All existing users should be able to login with their usernames and passwords once the site goes up.

Hey everyone. Followed the link from the ezboard version and had to sign on. Name is Paul and have been doing this hobby since '99. Everyone pretty much knows who I am and my rep for being a good Joe when it comes to trades and whatnot. Married with 3 kids and at this present time, unemployed but looking. Thsi hobby is so much fun to do. I am not into customizing like boot25 and others do but I am wanting to learn. Other than that I just want to hang around and have a little fun while I try tolearn something. I also have my own ezboard called The Eagle's Nest. Basically it is about WWII history from all sides. So drop in from time to time and perhaps you can share your insights on that huge conflict.
 
Since I could not edit my original post I had to reply to it. Wanted to add that I have a vast assortment of references from the 6th Division under the same name, under ebay (of which 1 was a work name and the other is my main screenname). I always try to make a fair deal and I am always looking for one. I collect only German WWII soldiers. Yeah I know another closet Nazi. Oh well! So if you wish to deal with me, you'll have no problem whatsoever...

Same experience here. Good items, well packaged, fair price, and mailed promptly. Who needs Ebay when we have Kameraden like Paul?

I sent some stuff to Paul that he had announced that he wanted, I didnt state any price or anything, and he accepted and payed a fair price for it and no problems in any way. Trade with confidence.
